Why Google ignores many ECU file product pages
Large ECU tuning databases can contain tens of thousands of similar product URLs. If every product has a near-identical title and limited unique text, Google may crawl many pages but index only a small group. This is not always a technical block; often it is a quality and duplication filter.
Better sitemap strategy
The sitemap should emphasize curated pages, category hubs, brand pages, service pages and articles. Product pages can remain accessible and indexable, but pushing every thin product as a priority URL can waste crawl budget.
What improves indexation
- Unique category descriptions.
- Brand landing pages with internal links.
- Articles that explain ECU matching and file selection.
- Noindex on cart, checkout and account pages.
- Clean sitemap index without obsolete language folders.
